Many players are familiar with the pleasantly bright tone of Gibson's classic J- 185, so when you consider the possibility of having two of these fine guitars in one box, the idea seems perfect. This J- 185/12 produces a tone that belies it's size and is perfect for stage, studio or just playing around a warm, Autumn campfire. The combination of the Spruce top and heavily flamed Maple back and sides gives a sound that is well- rounded, with crystal clear highs and a nice round bottom (don't even think it). This particular piece is virtually unplayed and has been restrung and set- up for optimal playing- we want it ready to go right out of the case, so if you're in the mood for an affordable "twelver", this could be the guitar for you.
