Description:
There is nothing and I mean nothing on this guitar that hints at mediocrity or commonness. After watching Lee play this guitar for a short while, I noticed that he was playing somewhat differently than he usually does. It was as if he was driving a car and then discovered it was a little faster and handled better than his old one. Not to say that anything was wrong with his "old faithful", but playing this Suhr just lent itself to try new things and that's exactly what a precision machine can do for you- bring out the better. Although I do go back and play my old Fender Jazz from time to time, it just doesn't feel as sharp and fresh as say, a Fodera or a Modulus. The same thing applies here- there is just no comparison between this Tele and the old "Blondie" you've had for 20 years and that's not to say the old girl's not a good guitar; It's only to say that she's not turbocharged and people do like to go fast for a reason. This Classic T is for the Telecaster player that wants a little more out of a guitar, in the same way a guy who walks onto a Ferrari lot wants a little more out of a car...
