Description:
With this Les Paul, you get the best of both worlds when it comes to the desirable features of an Historic 'Paul. You have a subtle, lightly flamed Maple top that reminds you of an R9, but you also get that beloved, beefy neck profile that is so well- loved by the scads of R8 players on the planet. I know it's chambered, but in English, this translates to a guitar that weighs only 7 lbs, 5 oz and still has all the balls you would find in the holding pen right before the running of the bulls in Pamplona. Besides, all real guitar players know that true tone "comes from the hands, man" and that Eddie Van Halen sounds like himself whether he's playing a Kramer Baretta or a Singer sewing machine. That said, you can have a non- back breaking R8 with some flames on the top and you are assured 'Elk quality at an 'Elk price. Now that, my friends is, as they say in those credit card commercials "priceless". Give us a shout or shoot us an email with any questions- this is the official "nude telephone operator week" here at the 'Elkcave and boy, is it fun to come to work everyday!
