Snow,Ice and Pearls of Wisdom

How did the Vice President of Grinningelk Music Co. find himself in this predicament? He lost a bet, of course. We wagered standing out in 7 degree weather in your underwear on the lyrical outcome of Macy Grays 1999 hit, "I Try". Ray said the chorus was, "I try to say good bye and I choke, I try to walk away and I stumble, though I try to hide it, it's clear,
I blow bubbles when your not here". (Dummy, it's "My world crumbles when your not near"). Winner, Winner, chicken dinner.

Since were on the subject of our feathered poultry friends,
isn't the Colonel looking for these?
Photo 2.. Stopping to refuel the 'Elk Mobile is always an interesting proposition. It always consists of buying a Sprite, Doctor Pepper and Ray's pig skins. Note the Quality Inn in the background; That looks like a naked women to Tiger Woods when you're weathered from the road.

More pictures of the Snow and Ice.
I always get as giddy as a child when I see it. (Well, I do live in the South and it's rare down here).

It's me, it's me, it's Earnest T. No folks, Ray took this picture of me to prove to scientists once and for all that the Himalayan Yeti can be domesticated into a productive citizen. I did leave a few footprints to scare the locals, as the simple- minded always love a fresh Yeti track to ponder....
Photo 5. This, my friends is the scene I love best: a wide open highway under bright blue skies. This is what Ray and I live for- to be on a buying trip, surrounded by Nature's goodness. It makes you glad and thankful to be alive. Till next time..
