Ms. Melia Sigmon and Her Great Accomplishment!

Because Lee and I look at this 'Elk Nation of ours as one big, ever- growing family, we look forward to the opportunity to tell the world when one of our members does well in life or achieves a personal goal. That is exactly the case here, as the "official" 'Elk Spokesperson, Melia Sigmon has recently been chosen 1st Runner- Up in the 2009 Miss Teen North Carolina Pagent. We met Melia and her father at this year's Charlotte Guitar show and she's kept in touch as she should because she's also the head of the 'Elk Complaint Department. She sent us some pictures from the pagent and reported that she has not received any complaints, so life is good and we're all par for the course. We're as proud as we can be of Melia and expect great things from her in the future- way to go Girl and fly that 'Elk flag high!
